DOs and DON'Ts

for your

Propane Grill

 


DO

Follow all Manufacturer's instructions on how to operate and               assemble your grill

Check the burner assembly for blockage such as spider webs and rust

Check grill hoses for cracks and check for leaks with soap solution

Open the cover before lighting

Turn off the gas if you smell or see a leak

Keep the frill away from combustible materials

Use the grill outdoors only

Use long-handled utensils

Close the cover and turn off the gas immediately if there is a fire

Call 911 for help

 

 

DON'T

Try to repair tanks or valves yourself

Store spare tanks of gas under the grill

Keep filled tanks of gas in a hot car

Grill indoors or under overhangs

Use flammable liquids like gasoline of bug spray near the grill

Leave grill unattended

Let electricity operated attachments such as rotisseries touch a hot grill

Grill closer than 10 feet from your house

Let children or pets play around the frill

Try repeatedly to light the grill.   If the grill doesn't light, turn the gas off and try again later
