Fund Raising

    The North Haven Professional Firefighters Association participates in several fund raising activities to help various charitable organizations.

    On November 19 & 20, 2006 we held our 3rd  Annual Tip a Firefighter Fund Raiser at the Outback Steakhouse in North Haven to raise money for the Connecticut Burns Care Foundation.  Members of the North Haven Professional Firefighters assisted the wait staff at the Outback and patrons gave "tips" to the Firefighters.  Thanks to the generous support of the Outback customers we were able to raise over $4,500.

   We also participate in Fund Raising for The Muscular Dystrophy Associatons.  Each August we hit the streets and participate in the Muscular Dystrophy Fill the Boot fund raiser.  This year we went out each Friday in August and were able to raise over $12,000 for MDA.
